Antitrust says orders 9 firms to raise gasoline sales on market
MOSCOW, Jun 14 (PRIME) -- The Federal Antimonopoly Service has sent letters to nine oil companies demanding that they raise sales of gasoline on the market, a spokesperson told PRIME on Wednesday.
"The Federal Antimonopoly Service has sent letters to nine oil companies with a demand that they raise sales of gasoline on the market," the official said, adding that otherwise the authority could initiate antitrust cases against the firms.
The antitrust is also considering raising the norm of oil product sales on the commodities market.
Sales of gasoline of AI-92 and AI-95 types on the market decreased by 7.9% over the last five months triggering a price rise, the official said.
